Louisa Khovanski is quite the special talent when it comes to creating art. She can be both the brain of her artistic work as well as the subject, all depending on the task at hand. Louisa is an elite photographer and talented social media model who is extremely passionate about art, as she has been immersed in the world of art since her early childhood. Louisa has been a photographer for about 6 years, but just recently found success as a social media model after only a year of posting to her Instagram account. “I began my career on Instagram just one year ago and I’ve already managed to accumulate more than 1 million followers which I am very proud of,” Louisa stated. Louisa’s photography and modeling content focus on the art of women’s natural beauty as well as their natural sexuality that she stresses women should never feel ashamed of. Being Passionate in Your Work
When Louisa was a young child, she was enrolled in an art class that taught her how to draw. She naturally excelled at drawing, and quickly fell in love with the vast world of art. As she continued to hone her artistic abilities throughout the years, she began to practice photography for fun. For Louisa, photography became her primary passion, and for years she has continuously strived to master the skill a little more each day. Louisa has been a photographer for 6 years and has worked with hundreds of talented individuals. From her experience working with numerous models, Louisa subconsciously picked up many of the ins and outs of the modeling industry. She began her modeling career on Instagram just over a year ago, and has taken the modeling industry by storm. Being both a photographer and a model has only helped her drastically improve in each craft, as she fully understands what is going on in the mind of the models she works with as she is capturing them on camera. She is constantly coming up with creative ideas and works each day to reinvent the art of both photography and modeling in her own style. Louisa stated, “As a photographer, I believe being a bit unsatisfied with your work helps to keep your mind focused on constantly finding ways to improve.”
Taking a Stand Against Discrimination
Louisa is an individual who tends to always keep an open mind. She strongly believes that people are free to do whatever they desire as long as they are not harming anyone. Through her work, Louisa is trying to help people understand the significant difference between vulgarity and art of sexuality, as she constantly finds herself in the battle against stigmas and prejudices. She stated:
“Nowadays, our society shames curvy women simply for having curves and for strongly expressing their natural sexuality. Society regularly shames curvy women and accuses them of being over sexualized, which in turn forces them to feel shame for not fitting into the social media industry’s standard image of what women should look like.”
Louisa fully understands the struggles many women experience first-hand, as she explained the disrespectful and hurtful comments people post on her social media platforms on a daily basis. She is a firm believer that the differences in people are what makes each person beautiful, and no one should ever be mistreated for embracing who they truly are. Louisa’s mission to combat these stigmas and prejudices has become one of her main passions, and she does not plan to stop fighting any time soon.
Dealing with Adversity
There is no doubt that in life some people have an easier path to success than others. For Louisa, her path to success has been anything but easy. Her upbringing and teenage years were very difficult for her as her family lived in poverty. She recalls many days in her teenage years in which she would dream about having the resources to take care of her family. Although her teenage and early adulthood presented countless struggles, Louisa is grateful for each and every one. “The things I go through now never seem difficult compared to what I endured as a teenager. I feel as if I can accomplish anything I set my mind to,” Louisa expressed. With her unbreakable mindset and relentless dedication to her work, the sky has become the limit for Louisa Khovanski.
